My experience at the clinic was really positive. I don’t speak Turkish, and the lady on the first floor helped me with all the necessary translations, even though it’s not her job. I’m really grateful for that. Dr. Nurettin conducted all necessary tests, identified the problem, and prescribed medication that quickly helped me. He is very professional and kind, and he also speaks English. Thank you for your service and help. I'd recommend this clinic and Dr. Nurettin to my friends.

I received fantastic care during my 2 night stay in the hospital in June 2024. Everything was explained well to me by an English speaking coordinator. Maelike from the Office was very helpful and the kindest lady. The staff on the ward were always caring and attentive. They worked hard too.. My room was ok, lovely sea view of Izmir bay. Could do with some updating, but the areas I visited seemed clean. My partner was well looked after too as he stayed by my side during my hospital stay. Thank you everyone at Bati Andolu, from Katy & Mark

Hi there, well on arrival in turkey and the medical people I was dealing with online where to different things from the information on the medical website to what I got to experience was two different things - I was admitted to Bati Anadolu Hospital rather shocked as who I had been dealing with and pictures i had seen were a shocking change to say the least...... Any way I was admitted for surgery but while being regardless of my initial shock I had such an awesome translater Melike Sivrioglu this young lady was utterly amazing for what she does her role should be more the way she handle my situation and how she took care of me and It was not her job but wow this young lady needs to move up in the world she became apart of me and my husbands life and transformed my heart ache into pure love, even down to the small cleaning lady in my room, as in turkey the language barrier is huge but between these two ladies my days in hospital I thank god every day for Melike because with out her I wold not have coped.... the CLinic I was dealing with Mono Life was far to busy to help and I was just another client to them, was not impressed with their services at all, but wish we had more Melike in this world, I wish that young beautiful lady the most success in life and her career anyone would be lucky to have her... thank you my darling Melike for all you did for gary and I and I pray to see you again soon..... Lots of love Jenny from ZImbabwe..... PS I just want to add to this Melike Sivrioglu humbled us in ways she will never know, english is a hard language even though we english speaking but the language barrier in turkey was extremely hard without Melike we would have surely suffered more, she is a self taught her self english and coming from Zimbabwe and english being our first language she blew us away her love and compassion for us was unbelieveable - to self teach your self that ins gloablly a hard language girl you are extra special.!

My father was suffering from necrotic pancreatitis. Because there was no space in the intensive care unit at Çiğli Research State Hospital, we were transferred to the intensive care unit there on June 19, 2024. However, this hospital was both inadequate and poorly equipped for my father's condition. His condition worsened daily. He was transferred directly to the intensive care unit on the very first day, and nightmares began for us. On the first day of my father's admission, even the intensive care nurse's behavior was enough to inflict pain on him. When I followed his treatment list on E-Pulse, I saw that he was constantly being prescribed strong antidepressants and red prescription psychiatric medications. My father was a quiet, calm, and silent patient; yet these medications were being administered to patients as if to "keep them comfortable at night." One night, at three in the morning, we received a phone call. They told us my father "wanted to get out of here." We could hear him saying, "Save me, get me out of here." We rushed to the hospital but weren't allowed in. The doctor on duty at the door said, "Your patient doesn't want to stay, and he's not doing well. You can take him to another hospital if you want." When we asked where and how we could take him in this situation, he said we could only take him if we found a place. The nurse who had caused the real trouble, realizing there was a complaint about him, came to us and tried to calm us by saying, "They were actually getting along very well, and she was just telling him to go to sleep because it was late." But we could hear my father saying, "I want to go." When we entered, I noticed the IV drip had been drained, dripping onto the floor. He was uncovered, shivering, and there wasn't even a blanket to cover him. It was clear my father was very upset by the nurse's repulsive and disrespectful attitude. That night, she yelled at my father, "Go to sleep!" and tried to force him to take a pill. When my father refused to take it, she wouldn't go near him. They didn't even bother him while the IV drip was running. When we entered the room, we even saw the bed was wet. Still, we had to keep my father there if another nurse was going to attend to him, because there was nowhere else we could take him at that hour. The next night, we received another call: "Come and get your patient." When we arrived, we saw the nurses were having a birthday party among themselves, laughing and making noise. We couldn't stand it anymore and asked them to take my father to the ward. On the ward, we discovered that most of the nurses didn't even know how to establish an IV. They hurt my father by stabbing his arm for 45 minutes. Two different nurses tried both arms simultaneously, but they still couldn't find the IV. Finally, a more experienced nurse from another ward arrived and found the IV in one try. When he came back from the intensive care unit, my father was having nightmares. When I asked the nurse, they said, "He was hallucinating because of the pills they gave him, and that was normal." There was no improvement, no effort from the doctors, no resources... It went on like this for a while. Finally, we took my father to Medicana Hospital. I'm so glad we did. Even thinking about it makes us feel bad as a family, because they left deep wounds in my father's body and soul. As his daughter, I lived through the entire process with him. Every time the phone rang, I was terrified. When we arrived at Medicana, my father was on a thin line between life and death. He was extremely weak from weeks of starvation. The doctor said, "This can't happen. He needs to start eating immediately, or his intestines will be damaged," and the appropriate treatment was quickly initiated. My father recovered there. If we had stayed in that hospital, we could have lost him. The doctors were well-intentioned, but the facilities and the system were inadequate.
